The spaghetti server that came with the dinnerware set I received as a wedding present many years ago broke recently and I needed a new one. I had a lot of experience with OXO products so I ordered this with the expectation that it wouldn't be an exception. Indeed it has done its job well and looks solid and well made. I like the material of the handle and the length of the wand. I like the shape of the basket, it's wider and not as deep as my old one. In addition to long, thin noodles such as angel hair, spaghetti and linguini, he can also use this to spoon tortellini or ravololi. But let's face it, the best thing about any kitchen utensil is that it can be cleaned in the dishwasher! Not only is this bad boy dishwasher safe, it can withstand temperatures of up to 400 degrees. What more could you want from a spaghetti server? Aside from the fact that it's made of gold, this is a beautiful and durable kitchen tool that gets the job done without any fuss!
