We are OXO fans and have many OXO products, but these containers are not airtight. The sliding mechanism does not work on two of the three containers. I have checked that the covers are fitted correctly. The lids can be removed from the containers just as easily as with or without the push of a button. OXO needs to do better.

I only bought 2 as they are quite expensive but I like them. This is where I keep the flour and sugar. I made my own labels with pretty stickers. They are easy to open and close; Gaskets are tight. The top is large enough to hold a measuring cup. They fit in my closet, but not in my mother's. Please measure the distance between the cabinets before ordering. I will buy several at once as I can afford them. This is my favorite container brand.

I bought this set in May. I immediately used the large 2 for rice and was very satisfied. I left the smallest one unused for a while, then put my GF flour in. After one use, the top slid off like it wasn't attached. There is no suction, no "hermetic" seal - to the point where my GF flour is ruined now. I've bought a few OXO Pops in the past and really liked them, but these are older models with a thicker lid. The seal is much better than these new versions with thinner caps. I was happy to find them cheaper at Revain and jumped at them straight away!
