Comfortable to hold: cutlery sets

Before trying this one, I used several different sets of forks and spoons to practice. For my 18 month old baby this set worked the best. He can grab a handle, load dishes efficiently, and eat alone until he decides eating with his hands is more fun. Since the fork is shaped like a spoon, it can also be used for thick soups or stews.

Pros
  • BPA, phalate and PVC free
Cons
  • A few little things

I love it! Suitable for feeding

My child has this one, a pair by Grabease and a pair by Skip Hop. Grabease was great initially, but it doesn't really help scoop up food like peas. My daughter would eat peas 24/7 if we let her. The fork has a small indentation in the 2 inner tines, making it a great little reservoir for peas. And he likes to eat his yoghurt with this spoon. She practically taught herself how to eat.

Pros
  • Includes: a fork 5.4"L x 1.1"W and a spoon 5.4"L x 0.9"W
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great design for confidence and independence

They worked better than I hoped. My toddlers were ready for a non-plastic fork to pick up food. The spoon and fork have a shape that is very forgiving while still trying to learn to eat without holding the utensil upright. The shape of the spoon is particularly useful for removing food from bowls. Each of my three toddlers quickly became confident and independent with utensils once they started using them.

Pros
  • Comfortable, curved, non-slip handles help baby feed independently
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Great for kids who hate utensils

I love both but prefer the fork because it's almost like a spork. My nephew hates using forks and spoons and is constantly trying to use his hands, I let him try the spoon and fork and bam my daughter he liked it. Bought my first set from tjmax and after seeing my nephew use a fork and I have no problems I bought two more sets. I'm not sure what age to start, but I have a lot of them. other spoons, but this one is very handy because it's wider and doesn't slip in your hand. My girl was aboutโ€ฆ

My daughter has become an expert on her cookware!

My daughter is 13 months old and has been breastfeeding for 6 months. We immediately introduced her to the utensils and used a different set of forks and spoons which taught her the purpose of the utensils but they didn't work very well. This fork and spoon were great! She knows how to get a good grip and the fork really picks up food. The only negative I can think of is that the metal on my girlfriend's spoon gets too hot when the food hasn't completely cooled, such as when the food is coldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Flat bottom prevents rolling
Cons
  • Expensive

I like this about solid feeding

I love this OXO Tot training fork and spoon set. I like the brand. I have been using products there for many years. So far you haven't disappointed me. And this cookware is great for my 17 month old compared to the competition. Side note if you have a child or toddler? Take OXO leak-proof cups with a straw in them. In my personal opinion they are the best out there. Affordable, durable and easy to use for four kids. No, I don't work for OXO. I've just learned to respect their brand over theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Comfortable, curved, non-slip handles help kids feed themselves
Cons
  • Available in white only
