464 is my favorite soy wax

I only make candles with soy wax and 464 is my favorite. However, you must observe the following temperatures to get the most from its use: Pour Point: 135Β°F (+/- 5Β°) 10% or 1.6 oz/lb. I recommend some kind of thermometer, preferably digital, to get a good temperature reading. As long as you add fragrance at the right temperature and pour at the right temperature, and keep the jar out of the wind or extreme temperature changes, your candles should come out perfect every time. Good wax in HORRIBLE packaging

It was good. I use it in a scented oil warmer to scent my home. I've used Soy 464's from several sellers/brands over the last year or so and it's good value for money. It smells good, that's the main thing. The only annoying thing is the type of packaging. The bag is cheap, but that's ok for the price. The problem is that the bag is useless. It's a super thin and see-through bag that *apparently* has a zipper. I don't know because I had to cut the whole thing anyway. As soon as I did that I saw

This wax is either defective OR NOT 464 grade gold. I have been using this particular brand and type of wax as a candle maker for over 6 years and as soon as I opened the bag I noticed a few things. The wax flakes seem to be covered with a sandy substance and secondly there are droplets of moisture in the bag. I melted the wax and then noticed that it was an odd yellow color compared to a transparent slightly white color, but I can see the bottom of my watering can, this wax hasn't melted at…
