Radio shaker needs replacing

I finally replaced an old broken radio shaker 500 in my 2008 Mustang and this wiring harness worked great. The instructions are easy to follow.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Can I add

Easy for a newbie

Easy install with my new aftermarket radio. Although I don't need some wires. It took me 5 minutes to get everything working. For the first time in my life I hooked up my own radio.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Sad packaging

2010 F150 XLT for radio accessories

I used it as a replacement for the Metra installation kit. Metra worked well, but there was a learning curve. This install kit has a few more options and works right out of the box. Directions are mediocre.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • For the old

delivery was very fast. There were instructions but it didn't specify which cables are which. Each cable is labeled which is which. Although every color matched my new stereo's seat belt, I like to double check everything. Anyway, I plugged it in and it worked like a charm. Used on my '09 Ford Escape (No Sync/No Navigation/No Steering Wheel Assist)

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • easy repairability

Perfect fit for 2008 Mustang with Shaker 500

Wow, I wish I had originally bought this item with the first head unit I installed on my 2008 Mustang with Sirius and Shaker 500. You basically saved everything but Sirius Satellite Radio with this kit. The Shaker 500 subwoofers also have NO pops (due to voltage drop from 12v to 5v) as there are converters built into the wiring harness. My only criticism of this kit is that you need to buy an "AUX line-in" converter as this kit has red/white RCA plugs, not the mini jack found on the back of…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Makes me mad

Shaker Mustang GTm 500 '06 - Parasitic drain problem solved

I originally ordered a Pioneer unit from Amazon and looked on Crutchfield for the wiring harness. I also ordered it and someone installed it for me. Shortly after, the car kept dying after I sat without driving for a day or two. The person who installed it was a friend of mine who previously worked as a car audio installer and I trusted them to get it right (and they did). I changed the battery and then the alternator while chasing a parasitic drain. There were still problems. Then I played the

Pros
  • Special offer
