📞 PAC ISMJ38 Call Cassette - Ultimate Hands-Free Calling and Music Adaptor Review

I ordered this because I wanted to play music from my phone and make hands-free calls. I wish the build quality was better but for the price I can't complain. Both music and calls come out loud and clear from my cassette deck.

When I bought the product for the second time, at first I thought it was a manufacturing defect. But for the second time I realized that this was a design issue. There is too much electromagnetic interference in the aux jack to iPhone. Despite it. As with other reviews, I am giving two stars because it is inconsistent. Although the idea is good.

My CD player broke in my car. In the future I will switch, but now it is financially impractical. I figured it would be a quick fix until then. It makes a horrible popping noise that sounds like my speakers are going to explode even with the volume turned all the way down. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

. Sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. It turns on and off at inconsistent times, sounds muddy when played wrong, and hurts your ears when it finally hits the right note. Also, the button that controls the music/call functions is very fragile. I was having trouble accessing my aux port on my iPad with a case on and now the button just pushes in. I gave two stars because again it only works inconsistently and the product idea is pretty awesome.

Absolutely terrible. I bought this to replace a cassette adapter I've been using for years after it started to fail. I thought the button function would be great so I went with this adapter. Button functions did not work at all. The knob was extremely sensitive and every time I hit a bump in the road, my music stopped. I spent more time staring at my phone trying to get music to play than was ever worth while driving. I immediately sent it back for a refund and bought another brand.
