Worked on my 2006 Chevy Equinox LT without Onstar with my original amp

2006 Chevy Equinox LT: This PAC RP3 GM-12 fits my Equinox which does not have ONSTAR No steering and I use a stock amp. Fits perfectly with the wiring harness. I recommend soldering and using heat shrink tubing for all your connections. The volume of the beeper on the interface unit was at maximum, quite loud. Little little blue box. This is the slot on the box for the control harness, sold separately. I would buy it again, the price of this PAC is high compared to the METRA GMOS-08 brand which

Worked great on my 2006 Chevy Equinox LT without Onstar using my standard amp

2006 Chevy Equinox LT: This PAC RP3 GM-12 fits my Equinox which does not have ONSTAR and steering and I am using the stock performance. Fits perfectly to the standard wiring harness. I recommend soldering and using heat shrink tubing for all your connections. The volume of the beeper on the interface unit was at maximum, quite loud. Small blue box. Adapter plug does not fit

Does NOT fit my 2006 Chevy Silverado. It's hard to explain, but the (grey) connector in my truck has two offset notches on the bottom. These notches did not match the notches on the (blue) connector of this adapter. (See attached photos.) I ended up buying a new wiring harness and having it professionally installed. Let's see what happens when I try to send it back.
