I fitted this on the Predator 212 straight tube on my mini bike and it will definitely save you from burns if you accidentally touch it. It also cools down quickly, so I was able to touch the exhaust shortly after the engine was running. I soaked mine for about an hour before using. Be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves when wrapping it, if the fibers touch your skin before they are baked they will irritate your skin. Wet my roll of film and it helped get a tight fit. The steel zip ties were useless, but that's okay, I just used zip ties to secure it. After installation, I hit it with a blowtorch for a little bit to burn off some fibers, and then let the kids go karting for half an hour. For a while it smoked and smelled rather unpleasant, but everything evaporated and now everything is fine. Our kart looks good and makes it a little safer from burns. We'll see if it holds up or breaks.
