I rarely write bad reviews as most products work well and live up to the advertising. But for some, this article is a waste of money. In short, it works very well with round pens, but poorly with hexagonal pens like the classic Palomino Blackwings or Papermate Mirado. The lead comes out jagged, as if it was cut through rather than sharpened. Really unsuitable for some pens. This is absolutely the BEST pencil sharpener out of the 7 I already own - now I'm sacrificing/throwing out 4 of them. This sharpener works great with my Prismacolor soft leads, even the ones I've had problems with breaking (works better than Prismacolor's own sharpener).
