I have many different colored pencil sharpeners. I've tried everything I can find but these are my favorite hand sharpeners. The blades are straight and sharp. I don't have a permanent break when sharpening colored pencils of different softness. With these sharpeners I get sharp tips that don't break immediately and fall out of the pencil when touching the paper because too much wood is cut off from the base of the tip.
