Not for Prismacolor Softcore pencils!

I am very disappointed in these sharpeners. I previously purchased a Kum square hole sharpener which came with extra blades. And absolutely love her. I bought these sharpeners thinking the angle of the holes would allow me to use a longer tip if needed. They do the job but break every single one of my Prismacolor soft pencils, including ones I've never had a problem with. I've found them to be excellent at sharpening my paper stumps so all is not lost. I left my rating at 3 stars because I…

Top quality hand sharpener

I have many different colored pencil sharpeners. I've tried everything I can find but these are my favorite hand sharpeners. The blades are straight and sharp. I don't have a permanent break when sharpening colored pencils of different softness. With these sharpeners I get sharp tips that don't break immediately and fall out of the pencil when touching the paper because too much wood is cut off from the base of the tip. Economical and efficient ORIGINAL German made pencil sharpeners

These are my favorite manual pencil sharpeners. As I'm still a big fan of "adult coloring" and have accumulated literally hundreds of different colored pencils as a result, this will be an inexpensive option for me every few months. Because crayons, especially wax-based ones, tend to dull their blades, no sharpener lasts forever, but they do allow a pencil point to be controlled over and over again.
