Given the price of vanilla extract these days I decided to make my own. These bottles do the job. I've noticed a few reviews complaining about the lids cracking. I was careful not to overtighten them and didn't notice the lids had cracks. When making the vanilla extract, I shook the bottles in the box vigorously weekly for three months. There were no leaks and I was happy with that. I recommend them!

I bought these bottles for my homemade vanilla extract, which I make myself. They are strong, dark, and perfect for my needs. The extracts should be stored in a dark, cool place and the amber hue helps keep the extract even if I put it in a dark pantry. My original review is gone. So here it is again. I was initially very happy with my experience with the company as they refunded me for a broken bottle with no problem. However, now that I've used these bottles, I'm having trouble with the caps. The caps do not fit the bottle properly and the material the caps are made of is cheap and has some drawbacks.
