not worth your money!

Oh my god! Save your money and run away from this site! The amount of particles he left on my machine is unreal! You would have thought my German Shepherd would polish the car 🤬 DO NOT BUY! Better burn money! At least nothing on your painting! I wish I had used it before, would have sent it back for a refund 🤬😡

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some trouble

Nothing better

I have used nothing but these pads on many cars for years. Other products where the exposed edges of the Velcro disc scrape and cut into the paint will fall apart and self-destruct, scattering sharp bits everywhere. But they are extremely safe as the pad edges wrap around the disc allowing you to buff concave and concave areas. Other styles will cut, scratch and ruin the paint.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Fading

Thread or something

What a crappy polishing pad! At first glance it seems to be made of yarn or something, not wool. These pads literally fall apart with use. They release lint like nothing I've ever seen. I used mine to put a coat of wax on my car and it was completely covered in lint from those pads. Complete waste of my money. This is truly one of those items that I can say you get what you paid for - junk!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some problems

Resets like crazy for tools and equipment

Glad to get my new gasket today and it's just awful. 5 minutes of polishing and my car is completely covered in faded fabric. It's not cheap carpet, but it's terrible. I can't believe anyone actually recommended this. I washed it thoroughly with soapy water and water, then wrung it out at high speed to remove the protruding fibers. Then I let it dry and tried again. It wasn't any better. My car was completely covered in loose fibers in 5 minutes. Threw it in the trash.

Meets expectations!

Good quality. Works well. right strength. Affordable price at 12.00 Good velcro I use mine on a 36ft boat that is not heavily oxidized and is less stressed for durability. However, polishing a layer of compound mixed with wax and then removing the entire layer of wax requires a lot of effort. I wash my buffing pads every night as the surface of the boat is significant and buffing takes several days. I bought 4 of these expecting to need a new pad but 2 new pads are still in sealed packages…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Not compatible with random orbital polishers, loses fluffiness like crazy

Strike 1: What does 3-8 inches mean in the description? Somehow, obviously wrong, I assumed it meant it would fit polishers (I have a porter cable polisher) from 3" to 8" in diameter - it might fit, but that doesn't mean it will work becomes. Working carefully to ensure the Velcro, which was about 7" in diameter, was neatly centered on my 6" pad. Don't, nosiree! Impact 2: During the 10 or so minutes that I held the polisher in my hand, this thing threw off wool fuzz like crazy. They were…

  • Certified

  • Slightly torn

Warning Warning Don't wash too late - pretty good product

I was concerned and washed two of the three when they arrived. Loose fuzz must have been a problem with my wet wax. The problem with this is that you lose about a half inch of space on the 7 inch spacer plate because the fabric hangs toward the center. You will need all 1/16 inch to place it on the base plate. Can you see the difference? The one with the back panel is unwashed and the fabric at its end faces outward while the washed fabric hangs over the Velcro. This is going to be a problem…
