I used these motors to repair the door lock actuators on my 2013 Lexus GX460 using a YouTube video. All doors are very similar, so once you've created one, you can easily do the rest. You don't have to separate the drive housing completely, just loosen all the clamps and then you can pull out the motor. It really is easier than you think. I replaced the driver's door, the large rear doors, and the cargo door.

The factory passenger door lock started going haywire and stopped working after a few months. I removed the entire door lock assembly from my 06 LX470, broke open the plastic cover of the lock drive and replaced the small motor inside with this unit. It was the perfect replacement ie the FLAT shaft version - I made the mistake of ordering a round flanged shaft that didn't fit. . Not bad for the price as I only had the driver's and passenger's doors open at the same time. Easy enough to swap out in the actuator and I'm hoping it outlives my OEM rears. While installation is a bit more complicated than replacing the actuator itself, it saves some money and most of the actuators at Revain don't have metal levers like the OEMs, meaning they won't last as long. In general, it's better to just swap out the motors and save some money! Highly recommended.
