That's good. They are bright red. They look better than the old lanterns. The old lanterns were slightly orange-red. These are good red wines. I haven't checked everything, but the ones I installed are fine. Time will tell the lamp life. I will report it. 5 stars for now.

I recently bought 50 of these bulbs and 50 white bulbs. The light has been on for 3 nights and I've already burned out 14 of them. Very disappointed with these lamps. If I had known I would be changing bulbs every night I would have spent the extra money and bought an LED.

I bought the wrong size; So I sent them back and the seller did a great job with shipping, processing my return and refund. Both transparent red and red tinted C9 glass lamps are available on the market. These are replacement tinted glass bulbs and are just what I needed to replace the blown red bulbs in the outdoor Christmas string lights we've had for years.
