Bad product in oil drain plugs

Gaskets rounded and leaking and tool broken. The left image is new, the right one has just been removed. The gasket is flat, causing leakage.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Mystery

Doesn't look like the original VW oil plug.

I have not used them but they look different compared to the original VW. I haven't installed any yet. I'll report back after the next oil change.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Modern

Worked great! to oil drain plugs

oil drain plugs and tools worked great. I still can't believe I'm using a rubber plug to keep the oil in the oil pan, but that's the design. Also, the unique oil drain tool worked flawlessly. I have a few extra ports in case I need them in the future.

Pros
  • super for me
Cons
  • some little things

Drain plug for four cylinder Porsche/Audi

If you do not siphon waste oil from the car you will need these parts as the plastic oil pan has a one-way drain plug. These are copies made in China but the quality is high enough that it doesn't leak and the tool worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Drill kit

stopped dripping: engine parts

The local oil change place didn't replace the old spark plug so my girlfriend's GTI was starting to drip. googled it and found that every oil change or 2 it needed to be changed, had to drain the new oil, replace the plug and put the fresh oil back in. The drops are gone. Multipack and now I'm going to change the oil myself.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Out of style

Oil filler key clicked immediately

Oil filler key is broken! I used the key to remove the old stub and it worked great. But after draining the oil, I tried to put a new plug in, but the key broke. It broke right after I put it in the hole. Because the oil plug wrench broke at a key point, I had several moments of nervousness trying to pull the plug out. Apparently you can use needle nose pliers as there is a groove for the tips and use them to pry the connector out. Please note that using pliers to remove the fork will deform…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Functionality
