My daughter -10- is an aspiring artist. Therefore, before she draws anything by hand, she traces the image of the subject on the Crayola Light Desk. It works great for her! This is a pretty good price. We bought a notebook with a damaged cover, great deal! Merry Christmas!

Bought to use with brushes to practice calligraphy. It's not very smooth and I destroyed a few brushes with it. It's great for art paper as it's nice and thin, but if you're looking for calligraphy tracing paper you might want to try Strathmore or Kelly Creates tracing paper. You need to take care of those delicate hand brushes!

I bought this notebook for my daughter to trace pictures from books and drawing guide books. The paper is nice and works well with a variety of stationery for this purpose. I was disappointed that the pad does not have perforated lines across the seam to facilitate page removal.
