Easy to install Best in Engine

Installation was easy. The only problem was that the temperature sensor is a two wire sensor and the wiring harness is for a single wire sensor. Just had to add extra soil. Works as advertised. I have never had a bad experience with Painless products, they do what they are designed to do.

Looks like a great product from a bad company

Good product, I had some questions about sensor placement, I called the company to explain and understand and both times I called, I spoke to two different guys who seemed like injections, bad attitude and no help. Painless is a lie!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something different

Wiring 2 fans for 69 Mopar 440 NS/Auto

Purchased for wiring a pair of fans for be cool rad on Mopar NS/Auto. Thermostat wire is OK, AC switch wire to dash lockout switch. Bosch type relay, block, fuse block, all high quality components. While the LS works like a multi-fan system and the thermal switch turns on and off as desired, the temperature display is fairly close to the mechanical temperature display next to the thermal sensor. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a 2 fan switch kit. system improvement.

  • Many positive emotions

  • Thoughtlessness

Wrong fan switch included in kit

This kit could be given a higher rating if it weren't for the wrong fan switch included in the wiring. The attached diagram shows a single core earthing switch which MUST be supplied with the kit. What they sent was a two wire switch where one wire would go to ground and the other wire would go to the relay. When the temperature reaches 205, it closes the circuit to ground. It wouldn't be a big problem if the schematic for the 2 wire switch they include in the kit was updated. I hope no one has

Fans of bad design stay tuned in all the time

Now that I've been using it for a few months, I've realized that this kit isn't well thought out. First, a thermal switch is placed in the cylinder head, which is always hot, so the cooling fans only turn off while driving, once you stop they stay on. It's impossible to gradually turn on the fans, so the sudden demand for power dims all the lights, and my truck has an upgraded alternator as well as a Red Top battery. When dimming the lights I also get different low voltage related engine codesโ€ฆ
