Poor quality colors

This canvas was printed poorly. The numbers have been moved, not within the rows. It's hard to tell which color went where. The paint was terrible! Very thick, sticky, had to be diluted with water. Not ready.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Embarrassing

Rough canvas, bad brushes

This is the third painting I'm working on so I have a basis for comparison. The canvas is ridiculously rough to paint on. It's like painting on sandpaper. The brushes that come with it are also of poor quality. This combination makes it very difficult to draw places like coconut palm leaves.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not sure

Almost impossible to read numbers

Worst readability of any PBN I've made and I've made quite a few. this is covid I'm bored. But the numbers on the screen are so tiny that even with a magnifying glass you can't tell if it's 23, 25, etc. A sample of the finished product made of colored paper is the size of a postcard, so there is nothing you can do to help. And the paper guide you get is even worse. The colors are fine, one was completely dry and I had to guess how to match the color. Brushes are better than average

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I'm worried

My least favorite

I've done some paint by numbers this year and this is my least favorite and it's sad because the real beach scene is beautiful. But it's hard to paint on canvas. The numbers are so small that they cannot be read even when magnified. The paint was very thick and "sticky". And even though the paint was so thick, I had a hard time painting over the red lines and black numbers on the canvas. With so many other images to choose from, I would steer clear of this one.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Poor quality

From the moment I opened the cans of paint I knew this wasn't going to be a fun PBN set. The paint is almost like glue, so very sticky and dried out. Adding water helped, but not much. Canvas is very similar to absorbent paper towel in that it absorbs paint and also has a coarser grain that makes it harder to get a smooth, even result. Also the paintwork is not the same as in the picture. The color for sand is like lemon yellow, not beige brown - kinda weird. I'll finish it, but I don't…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Fun drawing

It was a lot of fun to work with. I got it because my parents bought a beach house and I wanted to give them a housewarming gift. Some downsides were some of the tiny numbers were really hard to read so I had to guess what paint and also some of the paint was thick and didn't run across the canvas but I just added some water to thin it out. draw and it worked. It doesn't include wood to wrap the canvas, so you need to buy a frame for it. Overall it was worth the money and I definitely enjoyed…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • A few little things
