Will not fit standard 6.5 " speakers!

Will not fit standard 6.5" coaxial speakers. None of the mounting holes fit. Not sure what they are for be used.DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • This is fantastic
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Good stuff, cheap stuff.

A little wider than expected, about 7 inches, but the speaker fits. The fittings are very cheap, as soon as you screw the clip in, the clip breaks in two.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Doesn't fit well. make your own

I suggest you carefully measure your speaker holes. They didn't work with my Infinity speakers and charged me almost 50% restocking fee to get them back. Could have made 2 collars instead of sending them back and losing half my bucks. Spring. I made 2 spacers out of walnut wood. I've painted them 20 times and they still fit better in the space I placed them in.

Pros
  • Made of ABS plastic
Cons
  • Crazy piggy bank price

Actually good stuff

I was pleasantly surprised that this is good quality plastic. The measurements were accurate, the material is durable. I didn't have time to make a full set of adapters so I used them to increase the depth of some Pioneer Pro 6.5 midrange drivers to mount in the Jeep Wrangler roll bar. worked great with a few small mods and a simple .25" custom mounting plate.

Pros
  • They are specially made for Audiopipe APMB speakers with molded basket.
Cons
  • Basically everything is fine, but...

I was skeptical, but this proved me wrong!

This is pretty solid quality and a great price. I use some heavy woofers with huge motors (Silver Flute) and these rings don't cause any problems. I've used MDF for many years but over time they will need to be replaced as moisture destroys them.I tried to coat the edges of the MDF and although that takes longer it still swells and falls apart over time. The only other way that I see is a better ring with Delrin, but of course that will cost a lot more.

Pros
  • Audipipe APMB Spacewr 6.5" plastic speaker rings
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
