Ideal for trim optimization

Putting a lot of weight on the waist bands really helps me trim as I'm quite a tall guy. Without an upper body, my upper body has a lot more buoyancy than my lower body, not even much. Too many years of squats and deadlifts have made my glutes and quads too heavy and strong. It helps balance everything.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Other interesting options available.

Careful! The loops on the back are small. Doesn't fit my Aqualung BC

The loops on the back only fit small straps. Maybe from an inch to 1 1/2 inches, I don't know exactly. I wanted them for the tank strap on my Aqualung BCD. The pockets on the Aqualung work well, but they didn't exist back then so I used them instead. Small hinges therefore had to be sent back, don't think they will fit otherwise the quality seemed acceptable.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Well made and great price!

I love those cargo end pockets. They are well made and at a great price. I use them on my BC tank strap. You can carry multiple lead weights in each pocket. They were a little tricky to put on as you had to place them on top of the tank strap which meant removing the buckles and rings on the tank strap. It would be better if they made them with velcro. I think they will work very well on a separate weight belt and be very secure.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Good but not great

Ideal price for tether/back weight holdalls.

They worked as expected (did not live up to expectations, easy to use and attach to harness, no breakage of velcro and clips). GREAT buy at $25 for a set of two. Used for harness and technical wing setups in Belize up to 137 fsw (42m) and some other dives with solid weights (belt type) that simply fit into pockets and then attach with straps and velcro. Turning around and looking into the holes wasn't difficult either. The velcro could be stronger, but it holds up to 5 pounds per bag. Ideal for

These bags work great

I added these to my Sopras BC and they work great. Each carries 5 pounds of weight (maybe even 6), even if they're tall, covered in that plastic coating. I think you might even get a few threesomes in a row in it. I added 4 pockets to my BCD and removed the crappy zippered pockets that came with the Sopras. I love that each bag also has a ring so you can attach things to it. I trim my smb and winch on one of them. They also appear to be very well made and strong, so unlikely to fall apart. I've

Works in a pinch, could be better

These pockets hold hard or soft loads relatively securely but could be better. See below. Good:* There are no gaps between the bag flap and the bag, which allows you to use smaller soft weights (1-2 pounds) and they don't slide out like some other ready-made bags (check out Scuba XS). * Big enough to fit 8lbs in each bag.* Bag material is not too hard, bags can be squeezed without taking up too much space (unlike OMS bags for example). Could be better:* The velcro side of the velcro is oriented

Looks great but not quite as expected

These weights represent excellent value for money. The construction feels solid, the buckle feels solid, and it holds a decent weight. I think five pounds for a package with no problems. The seams appear clean and although I haven't dived with it yet I don't see any obvious problem areas. The only oddity, and this can be a plus or a minus depending on what you're looking for, is that the packages I received don't look like what's shown in the listing. There is no large "PLANTIC" mark on theโ€ฆ
