Pal/Med EMR Review

I like that it is easy to use for my staff as well as myself! It has many features including texting patients reminders about appointments or prescriptions refills etc. The only thing this program does not have are medication administration records which would be nice if they could add those later down the road but overall great software!! We love how convenient it makes our lives easier by keeping all of our patient information together so we don't need to search through multiple files to find

The ease of use and the ability to see the results of your orders and prescriptions. I wish that the reports could be exported to excel or pdf format. I like that it is easy to learn how to navigate through the program. It isn't overly complex, even for those of us with no computer experience. The software doesn't always recognize some special characters. Make sure you have all your specialty codes memorized! I also would recommend creating patient profiles before using this program. My only dislike about this program was that it wasn't available at my hospital when I started using them but now they are offering us access through our health plan which works great with me since we have an HSA account!!
