Palmolive Ultra Liquid Power Degreaser Household Supplies : Dishwashing Review

A lot of reviewers said Palmolive isn't the best brand when it comes to cleaning, but I've used Dove's super highly rated dishwashing liquid and wasn't very happy. I feel like Palmolive works just as well, if not better. It also takes a long time. And the smell is pleasant, if a little sharp. Sometimes your dishes still smell after washing.

Never switch to another dishwashing detergent. This stuff is the best. I use a very small jet on the brush and it's enough to clean a sink full of dishes. It takes very long. One bottle lasted us about 6 months! It cleans grease easily, and if I've ever left food on a plate, I soak it for about ten minutes and it cleans up nicely after that. I like the way it smells, it's fresh and bright. I hate washing dishes when this soap makes it so easy!

This dishwashing liquid was very good value for a large bottle, but it is very thin and I have to double or triple the amount to get the same cleaning power as many other liquids. It lathers well for a minute or two, and then the lather disappears. It really removes grease and cleans dishes. I've just realized I'm using a lot more than I should, so not a good deal. I prefer concentrates that I only have to squeeze into a bowl once and keep cleaning until I'm done. It's ok, but I won't buy it…
