Good dongle. But -- Attention

Good key. However - Note: I couldn't get this to work on an RPi 2b with Ubuntu Core due to power requirements. To get this to work I had to use a separately powered USB hub (even after adjusting the USB power output on the RPi) due to the power requirements of this Wi-Fi. Because of this, I decided not to use the RPi 2b for my particular setup. I chose the Kootek Raspberry Pi Wifi Dongle Adapter, a fully compatible 150Mbps USB Wi-Fi for Raspberry Pi/Windows/Linux/Mac OS.

Excellent WiFi adapter for MythTV backend

Works very well, no complaints about it. I'm currently using it on my MythTV backend (running Mythbuntu) in my basement and it connects to my upstairs bedroom well enough to stream 1080p videos through my Raspberry Pi (range about 15-20 meters). I didn't have to download any additional drivers or go through any fancy setup steps to get everything up and running, plugged in, and up and running. it again.

Reliable WiFi Adapter

Satisfaction depends on signal strength. My AT&T phone shows 2 to 3 LTE bands, which allows streaming at 72.2 Mbps, which is good for most applications. This includes a recording of the Tannhรคuser Overture on YouTube. However, since the atmosphere is annoying, I also have a 300 Mbit / s adapter, although I haven't found the right one yet. The Panda software is amazing and allows you to password protect your WiFi access. old fat. Highly recommended. Updated 07/22/2016. The browser downloads theโ€ฆ

Overall good value for money

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Terrible. He worked for about two weeks, then he started dropping packages and started to get very slow. Two weeks later, the plastic USB connector broke when I (gently) pulled it out of the computer. Don't buy this one. UPDATE: After I complained, the company sent me a new device and software driver under warranty. Warranty service was easy to contact via email; much better than many tech companies today. The new device has stable performance (no packet loss) and is moreโ€ฆ

Works with Raspberry Pi but requires some setup.

This adapter is marketed as compatible with Raspberry Pi. And "works" out of the box. The Debian distribution for the Raspberry Pi includes the necessary drivers for the device to work, although I had to write a script to get the device working at boot. It's not that bad, if you want to play in the Linux playground, you have to get dirty. The only thing stopping this device from getting 5 stars is that this adapter is constantly set to a slower mode so I can't get a 150Mbps connection (note Iโ€ฆ

Fiction. Plug and Play for Windows 10. Fast. Got it!

I normally use 5GHz power supplies but for my laptop I need something small enough but powerful with an adjustable antenna to help out in weak signal conditions. It has a built-in Wireless-N adapter, but it's not very good. This one is perfect and the price is fantastic. Literally as soon as I plugged it in it started working. I installed the driver anyway, but it looks like you might not need it on Windows 10. What I liked most is that the physical USB port is thin and doesn't get in the wayโ€ฆ

Perfect signal over 2000 sqm. ft.

After creating a new desktop, I encountered an internet connection conundrum on my newly built computer. The biggest hurdle is that the computer is completely on the opposite side of the 2,000 square foot house with three walls in between. So after some research and reading reviews I decided to try this Panda Wireless USB Adapter and boy was impressed. The adapter gave me a perfect signal with no dropouts or disconnects and took full advantage of my high-speed internet connection. Also, at less
