These "reusable" time and time again paper towels are an expensive version of a thicker blended "paper" towel that presumably can be reused after washing. So rather a rag or tea towel than a paper towel. All good - they seem to have cotton or similar tissue embedded in them so they don't "dissolve" in water like normal paper towels. The paper smells like industrial toilet paper (not the paper you buy in the store, but the toilet paper you use in the office). I suspect it has to do with the chemicals used in the manufacturing process. It stinks to be honest. While it's fine for cleaning, I'm not sure I'd use it for eating myself just in case the stink gets on the food. These are nothing but high quality thick paper towels.
