Really like the quality of this jar, I just used up the first box of my lotion bars and have ordered them again, there are cheaper ones out there but didn't want to compromise , each jar is neatly folded in the box, and there individually in a plastic bag, the lids are screw on and they are durable so you can use them there well.

I have no idea what the complaints are asking for; got exactly what i ordered, twice and they last! Just yesterday I saw a question on the forums about another tin can that was rusty and turned the contents pink! This is not the case and again I received screw caps as described. Item arrived in excellent packaging with no damage. The lids fit perfectly. The problem with the product is that it doesn't come with 2 ounces of product. I used a scale to weigh the lotions when filled and they all weighed 1.7 ounces. I have ordered 1 ounce containers from another seller and the weight was perfect. Needless to say, I had to re-create the labels for the product. I will not order these again.

I used them for ointments. They screw down tight and are a good size to carry in a pocket or purse. I once melted the ointment in my diaper bag and the case didn't leak. I am very impressed. The size is convenient for us and holds a lot of product. If I were to sell more I would probably go with smaller containers. That's a lot a customer has to put up with. But it's great for our boo balms.

Despite other warnings I ordered this one and was just as disappointed to receive jars that did NOT have a screw top. In addition, the lids slipped off very easily and would not have served my purpose anyway. It was not possible to exchange them for the correct product and I would not be sure of getting the correct one a second time. I failed on the project for several days - I am not satisfied.

If you want basic info these are quality jars at a reasonable price. COVERS instead of the required SCREW COVERS! It's okay, but not wanting retractable lids would upset me greatly. Screw tops would be nice, but overlays would work too, and they actually worked great. The lids were particularly tight on the first batch I ordered; the second set, were a little loose. When ordering these jars remember that they are suitable for dry or solid products, not liquid products such as lotions, gels or any other liquid product. If you need some for this, make sure you have a container with a lid seal that compresses like a gasket when the lid is open. These cans are as strong as they need to be. I wouldn't go for them, but they're enough to keep in your pocket or in a postal envelope. I do both regularly and have had no problems. The lids fit easily, the threads…
