Once it melts a little it won't cover enough spa to put your hand in based on the directions for using one sachet of wax per spa session. Used this thing 3 times. When I first worried about how hot it was, I thought maybe my hands were a little colder because of the heat. The second time I used it, it was very hot. Then the third time I used it, it was too hot, I felt my hands would burn. O I removed the wax as soon as possible. My hands were so red it felt like they were on fire.
