I have an old HP 4000N LaserJet that still works. I tried buying a USB to RJ45 adapter, but in the end it was the USB network adapter that the router was looking for, not my printer. Belkin made one of me who died. I don't think they are a "thing" anymore. This reliable cable worked the first time.
