I didn't realize the stethoscope was not included with this BP monitor, even though I can now see it does state that it isn't included. So now I have to order a stethoscope; otherwise, this item is useless. I don't understand why they would be selling this without a needed stethoscope even with all the great reviews.

I used this for my EMT classes. Not the best quality, but it got the job done. As an EMS student on a budget that's what will count. a little awkward to handle while holding a stethoscope. no holster for the sphygmomanometer hence the awkwardness of placement, but BP readings are accurate which honestly is the only thing that mattered.

On a scale of one to five I would rate the blood pressure cuff a 5. I bought it to practice taking manual blood pressures because I'm a student nurse and it is just perfect. I'm even able to take blood pressures on myself with the way it's configured. I also love that it has the artery indicator and that it comes with instructions on how to take blood pressures even though I don't need this. This sphygmomanometer is reasonable quality for intermittent, non-clinical use, but one would have to compare readings with a rated sphygmomanometer to be sure. Also, the quality of the reading depends on the skill of the user, so correct, consistent usage and a good deal of practice are to your benefit.
