Stethoscope is not included

I didn't realize the stethoscope was not included with this BP monitor, even though I can now see it does state that it isn't included. So now I have to order a stethoscope; otherwise, this item is useless. I don't understand why they would be selling this without a needed stethoscope even with all the great reviews.

Pros
  • Keep track of your blood pressure: universal cuff (size 22-42cm) that is made of extra durable nylon, comfortable velcro strip that allows for easy one hand self measuring at home to balance your bp
Cons
  • The pink color may not be everyone's preference

Product Quality Scale: 4Delivery arrived without any issues and the item and box were intact and in good condition. I was able to connect the gauge easily - it fit snugly and seems like the item is of good quality - tried using it a few times and pumped it up to 300mmHg and held it there for about 50 secs. to see if there are any leaks - everything is in great condition. I am planning to use it this weekend for a Geriatrics Exercises Certification Seminar and hope for it to hold out well with…

Pros
  • Get reliable results: equipped with a prestige metal air needle valve with a smooth pressure relief regulation and a large, easily readable number dial. Clinically tested and approved

Cheap Produc: my feedback

Bough the Paramed Ameroid Sphmomanometer for work, when taking the blood pressure, the black bag inside the Sphmomanometer pop's out of the Sphmomanometer and not able to take the blood pressure, then I have to try to put it back in, This Item was waste of my income

Pros
  • Efficient and cost-effective alternative to digital monitors
Cons
  • May not work well on patients with unusually shaped forearms

Who doesn’t need a blood pressure?

I’m a functional trainer and I was an RN for 15 years so I get vital signs and "testing” on day one. This appears to be very accurate! You don’t want the guess about something this important! The Trainer Hood River

Pros
  • I used this to learn BP in nursing school. It is easy to use and great quality for the price.
Cons
  • May be too noisy

I used this for my EMT classes. Not the best quality, but it got the job done. As an EMS student on a budget that's what will count. a little awkward to handle while holding a stethoscope. no holster for the sphygmomanometer hence the awkwardness of placement, but BP readings are accurate which honestly is the only thing that mattered.

Pros
  • Comes with clear instructions for use
Cons
  • May be too bulky for travel

Great manual blood pressure machine

On a scale of one to five I would rate the blood pressure cuff a 5. I bought it to practice taking manual blood pressures because I'm a student nurse and it is just perfect. I'm even able to take blood pressures on myself with the way it's configured. I also love that it has the artery indicator and that it comes with instructions on how to take blood pressures even though I don't need this. I'm also grateful that it's a universal cuff and that it could fit arms of all sizes. I defiantly would…

Pros
  • The cuff works but is way to large for the average person
Cons
  • Not ideal for use on elderly patients

This sphygmomanometer is reasonable quality for intermittent, non-clinical use, but one would have to compare readings with a rated sphygmomanometer to be sure. Also, the quality of the reading depends on the skill of the user, so correct, consistent usage and a good deal of practice are to your benefit. Using a manual sphygmomanometer like this can be awkward at first, and learning to listen for the pulse through the stethoscope requires some experience. In this way, this manual…

Pros
  • Suitable for both professional and home use
Cons
  • May require assistance from a medical professional
