Hydraulic Bicycle Brake Bleed Kit - Park Tool BKM-1 with Mineral Oil Review

Great product it has everything you need to bleed your brakes. But the price is too high and the best way to get it is to wait for the sales.

I trust Park Tools but this set is missing the blue Magura adapter. One of the syringes also appears to be used as it contains an oily substance. Very disappointed.

If you only have one bike or one type of disc brakes, this kit will be overkill and expensive. But two or more particularly different brands is really great if you're a home mechanic.

Great kit for bleeding your bike's hydraulic brakes. Ideal for both full flushing and lever ventilation. The adapters are made of durable metal, not cheap plastic like some kits. With this kit you can bleed brake systems from different brands, including Shimano or Tektro brake systems.

This high quality bleed kit is also compatible with Giant Conduct Hybrid Hydraulic Disc Brake System. It's very easy to use and the adapters won't break like cheap non-genuine adapters sold on Amazon. It's a bit pricey but will fit most mineral oil based bicycle disc brake systems.

Excellent build quality and well thought out kit, with one exception. I have Magura MT7 brakes. They give you a Magura adapter which is great for connecting the syringe to the brake itself, but you need a second one to actually attach the reservoir to the brake lever. I had to order another blue adapter from Magura to get it working. Too bad they only included 2 in the kit.

Simply top up brake fluid, everything you need for almost every brake is in there. Well thought through. My plastic blood drainage cup was slightly bent to one side as if it had been pulled out of the mold too soon and then sagged slightly. This didn't stop me from using the kit and I suspect it was a one-off defect. I've spoken to ParkTool about many of their products and I'm sure they will just send me a replacement.
