Very good quality tire levers

I ordered these tire levers after breaking 2 cheap ones I had. I have used them twice to change tubes/tires on a 700c X 25 road bike and they have worked well. I'm happy with them for the price. Park Tool always manufactures high quality products.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Zero

Not what it used to be

I have a 20 year old set of these brackets. Never had a problem. Bought these to replace a holdall, the first one I used broke on first use. Very disappointing. I have a lot of parking tools but I will think twice before buying anything in the future.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Has flaws

Works as expected Good for cycling

I don't know if it's due to quality control or if some people are ignorant, but I had no trouble taking the old 23rd tire off. from 700 wheels. Went through easily, didn't pinch the tube and slipped off the tire easily. Worked just as well on the other, firmer bike. No complaints.

Almost Perfect

I recently bought these to put in my saddlebag for road repairs. I keep a few in my regular tool box and prefer to use them instead of my previous tire levers. They work great getting under the tire bead and didn't even threaten to break. There is no damage to the rim. The only thing that could have been done better would be to remove the spoke hook to make the tire arm shorter. (I might be using them incorrectly, but I don't think a needle hook is necessary.)

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • Large and Bulky

Only the ones available for purchase! for tires and tubes

I have a good set of metal levers at the store but I have a few cheap plastic levers in my bike backpack. BAD IDEA! Was traveling and was a friend when his little bike with wheels burned down. I thought, "It's okay." I got out my cheap stuff and started breaking all 3 levers trying to get his tire off. Came home and ordered these parkas, blew the snot out of them to see if they would break. NO, they don't break! your guardians! Don't buy cheap they will leave you on the street!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as it should, didn't break

These tire levers don't have many advantages over the occasionally cheap ones other than they snap together for easy storage. Also, I didn't see much use or benefit over a pair of old tire levers that I got for free when I bought some generic inner tubes for my kid's bike at W-Mart a few years ago. They didn't break when I used them and didn't damage the rims, hence 4 stars. I don't think those fancy levers made changing tires any easier than the cheaper plastic ones.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Negative moment present

The best universal set of tire levers

The spoon on the parking lever is moderately thin and has an ideal width. This allows all three arms to fit into a fairly tight tire and rim combo. It has a large shelf holding the levers in place (see attached image) for those of us who weren't born with three arms. The levers lock easily. Nylon seems to be quite durable, but only time will tell. I have a set of Lezyne Matrix levers that are thinner and smaller. I use Matrix levers for very tight and problematic tire/rim combinations. I also…

Good product but ITEM NOT SHOWN

I love Park Tool. You do great things. These levers are no exception. Lightweight, durable and they even snap together. HOWEVER, these are NOT the levers pictured in the description. The ones pictured have metal cores with plastic or rubber (not visible in the picture) on the outside to keep them from bending while protecting your rims (model TL-6.2 in the pictures). The item I received is TL-1.2 which to be honest is the model number in the description. But I never thought of googling the…
