Great Tool! That's more than I need for the rite now, but I knew it. It will stay with me for a long time. The quick release doesn't do anything faster for the bottom brackets as you only have to use the threaded side, the hex doesn't go into the bearing on the other side to allow for a quick release. QR is most likely for steering columns or larger bearings.

Quite expensive but very reliable and happy to do it once or twice a year when I need it. I tried going the DIY route with a threaded rod and washers and successfully completed the first job, but the headset went wrong on the second job, so I decided to go that route with the right tool. And although it's $, it will pay off after a few works.

Finally got mine. This sets the bar for all headset taps. quality tool! I've been using my store abs for years, now that I'm an adult I think it's time to get my own. Love it! You can make your own for a small amount, but if you value your frame and headset, spend more on this quality tool. There are several models that have leveling cups for different headsets.

Yes I made one for $20 out of a giant bolt, washers and nuts, yes I used a hammer and a block of wood, yes I used a lot of swear words. First time with this thing, wow. It made life so easy. I just wanted to click my headphones for a month. Before I bought this instrument, every time I had to, I would stare at the headset with a stinky look. Even if the price is a bit high. it's still worth every penny. The quality is fantastic. it will last my life.
