Easy and cheap winter bike storage solution

Although I had to go to my local hardware store to buy two washers, I attached a storage hook to an adjustable wire shelf to store my bike upright in tight spaces. Works great, sturdier and a lot cheaper than the vertical bike storage I bought and built.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

A little annoyance

I used Unistrut trolley hooks for my overhead bike mount. Irritation is the glue Park Tool uses to attach its label. It left a lot of marks on the hook cover and it took some effort to get the dirt off. Hey Park Tool, use glue like Apple and think about the customer using your product!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Legacy model

Looks like a strong hook

Well I mean it's a hook. As for the hooks, this one is as good as any, so five stars. The rubber is intact, the thread is clean, the nuts are tight. nutty. I used this to hang a surge protector cable on one of my workbenches. Light strain for such a strong hook; but better too strong than too weak. Richard

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Weight

Great bike hook with machine thread!

I wanted to attach a bike hook to a through hole and had a little trouble finding machine threaded hooks this size. I'm really glad the Parktool wears them. I installed it in a through hole in the board, put washers on each side and included a lock washer to hold the assembly in place. It fits my road bike as well as visitors' road, mountain, or commuter bikes. The hooks are well made and if installed properly I'm not worried about them going anywhere.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Vulgarity
