Park Tool Professional Truing Rebuild Review

I have had the TC-2 stand for almost 30 years. After this set it is like new. You can't ask for much more. There may be cheaper stands, but if you want one for life, buy a park.

I put this on a T-2 over 15 years old and it's BETTER than new. Definitely picking up this update again - my correct stance is smoother, easier to use and more accurate than ever.

The instructions were a bit difficult to understand until I figured out what to do. then it dawned on me that the instructions were as clear as they could be! A worn out strut brought back to life!

Good quality parts; However, the instructions are silent about the critical step of threading both ends of the double ended bolt at the same time. Also, the instructions mention the need for an expensive park centering/aligning tool to properly center the rim caliper arm between the vertical arms. I bought this kit a long time ago because the bushings on the caliper arm burned out. I replaced them at the time, and the remaining parts have been lying around ever since. Today I finally got around to assembling my TS-2. It's hard to review this item without mentioning that Green Canyon actually lost the ball when sending it. To get to the point that they never shipped it, I had to order this kit directly from the park. Many readers will find my rating unfair once the entire kit is up and running and I would highly recommend it to anyone rebuilding their old TS-2.
