I can make cables the perfect length, every time, the exact length. RJ45 is not a penny more expensive than non-passing heads. Should make the work a step easier and smoother. The crimper is small, easier to carry, and fits in the pockets of my tech tool bag. I have a standard crimping machine, it's big and bulky. I like Pass-Thru RJ-45 in Cat5e and Cat6. No more mistakes. A little faster and probably faster as I get used to the setup. That's great

The pass-through method doesn't save any time compared to the standard method, but it does allow my tired eyes to see the colors of the wires better and organize them. I was able to connect a terminal in the complete reverse order because I couldn't tell which end of the connector was on top. A tip: After removing 2" of the sheathing, unrolling and straightening all the wires, I insert the wires one at a time, bending each about 1/4" as I go.
