Type of review

I love to knit with this acrylic yarn. It is soft, smooth, does not crumble or roll. I haven't found a single knot in the four strands I've used so far. The color corresponds to the photo on the internet. This is definitely an acrylic quilting yarn that you will want to last for years to come.

Pros
  • For knitting and crocheting clothes, accessories, toys and home decoration
Cons
  • Long time waiting

Light color, but the strands diverge in almost all rows

I very rarely write reviews and I'm not one of those who react negatively; This color yarn is very light for a scarf I'm working on, but it takes me twice as long to complete the project because it's falling apart and I have to keep going backwards to gather all the threads together. I will never buy again.

Pros
  • Overall performance is excellent
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened

I don't like that green

I'm only considering it for the color accuracy -- Sweet green. This is not a light lime color as described/pictured. I would call it more of a light mint. I bought bc Canadiana yarn - a new favorite yarn and I like having lots of colors on hand but thought I'd warn other buyers that it really didn't turn out what I expected. All other colors I ordered were correct.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Little things

Not like the Canadians of the past.

The yarn has NO "lint" that used to be. I have a lot of Canadiana yarn so when starting a new project I ordered another 100% acrylic yarn. eggs. It didn't look the same as it used to. The new version is VERY shiny and has no fluffy properties. Curious why, I checked the company bio. . . learned it had been bought by an international conglomerate that had closed its longtime factories. quality has suffered. We are left with a handful of companies that own most yarn manufacturers.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Fade
