Cat likes it: Beds and furniture

*3 week update* My cat tore it up to the post in the middle where the textiles change. Assembly took 60 seconds. I like that the base is small so it doesn't require a large area. The cat understood immediately and stopped using my blanket.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

This is perfect for my cat.

My cat weighs about 7.5 pounds. This replaced the old post. He loves these too. I was a bit apprehensive at first when I saw the little box it came in. Everything was fine, just one part attached to the other. Voila!

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good product, best among scratching posts

Although the ball came loose on the first day of use we were able to get another one for a very active kitten. A thread of material came loose from the bottom carpet, but it didn't unravel further. I would buy it again, even with "faults"

Pros
  • Good marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some bugs

Distracts furniture scratches

It's quite large and when cats scratch the pole, it tips over a bit. But otherwise it's a hit for our cats. They love it so much they don't want to share it with each other 😂 It also takes their mind off scratching our furniture which is great and the reason we bought it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Get what you pay for

Although it was easy to set up and assemble at first the post only lasted a few weeks due to the weak split base I don't understand why they just didn't have a solid piece for the beginning. This weakens the fibreboard. The washer that was present may have helped, but very poor design on the underside. Don't waste money!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Cheap stuff, keep shopping

The part of the post they scrape is so thin compared to other posts I have. Gray and off-white colors are good. This type of rug is a really small industrial style rug. And it was side mounted, so on the second day of this scratching post, the cat ripped some of the carpet off the pole. I don't know if it's worth packing and shipping this item during covid19 so we'll probably keep it. :/

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It's cute but watch out for the height

This is a cute scratching post and cats are starting to like it. He's very small and I kind of overlooked the fact that he's only 20 inches tall, but that's my fault. Still a good price but make sure it's the height you're looking for even if it says cats can stretch to play with the toy. This part might be great for kittens, my cats are too big. Overall I'm happy with it and it was ridiculously easy to put together.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I don't know

Light and too small base

It's nothing more than a scratching post. It's a bit small and too light. My 12kg kitten tipped it on its side the first day I put it on. The only time I see him next to him is when he's kicking a fluffy ball. He doesn't seem to like the carpet or the sisal part of the scratching post. He has a tall, carpeted scratching post with a 24-inch base that he loves, as well as a cat condo with sisal poles that he uses regularly. I think this bar is too light and too short to do much.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • It's OK

I'm disappointed: Cats

I ended up having to buy two, my boys broke the first one when I was messing around with it or so I thought. Today, even though the guys weren't around him, I noticed that the cats had broken him. These are 6 month old cats so yes one of them in particular is very active and likes to grab things but they don't even weigh 10lbs they can't be too big for a scratching post. So now the second one leaned over and almost fell when the cat fell on the little ball (he looked very frustrated). I really…
