For the price, if you're willing to do a little polishing, a good deal.

As expected, I spent 15 minutes smoothing/polishing the rough thread edges, spacer pins and ball ends (this sets them apart from much more expensive options). But it's worth it! Saved a lot of money and then made all reproducible measurements if you are very careful with the technology. Practice makes perfect!

Pretty good for the price

As other reviewers have pointed out this is a decent set for the price. The ends are fairly well finished, although I'll probably touch up one (of 12) with fine sandpaper to remove some of the machining marks, which to be honest probably doesn't affect the quality of the measurement. There is a little side play in the slide mechanism, which mostly goes away when you tighten the stop. Based on that I would guess that they would be good for 1/1000" but probably not 1/10000".

Bad quality control. One of the tools is broken.

Very poor quality control. I made the mistake of opening the bag and trying a few smaller ones when I first received this set. Everything seemed fine so I put them in my tool box and decided they were a good buy. A few days ago I used most of the set for the first time and immediately realized the pistons were the wrong size and fell right out of the T-frame. The thumbscrew wasn't tightened, and the piston and springs behind it flew right out of the tool. And it's over 30 days. So if the seller
