I bought these lights for my newly purchased safe. I taped them to each shelf so when I open the safe the movement lifts it up and turns on the light. Great light and bright. It illuminates everything and sticks to the inside of the safe so they work great!

Mine worked well in unusual closets where previously I had to shine a flashlight to find anything. The magnetic mount makes changing the battery easier than other models that require removing the light from the screws. I will probably buy another set for other problem areas.

I am currently using this product on my new fridge as it does not have a freezer light. {Yes I was shocked too!} I put 1 on top and 1 on each side and they work great. You attach them with tape, which is very sticky on one side and magnetic on the other. When it's time to replace the battery, simply remove it from the magnetic strip. I've had it for 2 months now with the same batteries so far so good.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I used to have trouble finding things in the closet, not anymore. My wife likes the motion detection because she is 5ft tall and the cabinet height is over 9ft. Magnetic strip that can be taped to any surface. One side is great. So the light bar just pops out of the bar to change the batteries. (This requires 4 AAA batteries, they say this should last up to 6 months) Took me less than 5 minutes for each cabinet. There is enough light to illuminate my closet.

We put them in the kitchen cupboard so we can see the back of each shelf. They are easy to install (peel and stick) and thanks to the magnetic strip you can change the battery in a second. Because they are long streaks of light, they cover the area well without the shadows of individual lights. A few years ago I tried other light sources that were not as satisfactory.
