🐾 Pearhead Pawprint Ink Pad for Pet Keepsake: Capture Cherished Memories of Your Dog or Cat Review

I bought this for a memorial tattoo for my furry son. At the time of purchase he was alive but had a stroke and it all went by so quickly that as I was dealing with the thought of losing him I grabbed his paw print to make things go wrong. I have a distorted print of his paw. I still held it. I also have a commemorative tattoo of my favorite photo of him and his name. I would not recommend this product for a large dog, I see it works for a smaller one.

I was a little hesitant to buy this but figured why not try it for the price. I've just used it now and I think it worked great. I love that my dog's paws don't get dirt or ink on them. The only problem I had was that I didn't have paper to print on. The description says that there were several sheets of paper in the kit, but I only received one ink pad. I think the pet you are trying to get the pawprint from didn't move and looked like a baby and liked to play with finger paints, that would be a great idea. However, it was extremely difficult to use. I tried to press the ink pad against my dog's paw, put the pad on the floor and had him step on it. Both times the color was not well tolerated. I ended up going to Michael's, got a non-toxic ink pad and billboard, smeared ink on a couple of paws and ran them across the billboard. So MUCH better…

Earlier this month I learned that my 14 year old cat was suffering from kidney failure and euthanasia was the best option for her as she was fading quickly and was very unwell. I quickly ordered this set of paw prints for Revane knowing I only had a few more days with her. They arrived the night before the meeting and I was able to get two copies of their paw print. She passed away on June 4th and I miss her very much. I framed her paw print next to her ashes and was able to use it for a tattoo

First of all, no instructions were included with this product so I had to search YouTube to see how it works and I only received one sheet of paper to print when there should have been two. As it actually works, I suggest you save six bucks and frustration and look elsewhere. No matter how gentle or careful I was, my dog's paw print never came out clearly (see photo).
