Works perfectly! while cycling

Excellent fit, comfortable after a few rides to break in. Protects against dust and small amounts of water. I prefer Sidi shoes for the better fit but they are great for the lower price.

Pros
  • ΒΎ nylon composite shank for eFULL FINGER Efficient power transfer and off-bike versatility
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Precisely! - Men's

I've been looking for a shoe that I can also walk in, but after reading the reviews I couldn't find it anywhere in my size. Durability seems good, good weight (not too heavy) for this type of shoe and comfortable. Also runs great!

Pros
  • Rubber Sole
Cons
  • New Competitors Emerged

Incredibly comfortable and beautiful

You are gorgeous. I bought these to serve two purposes: They work well as a mountain bike shoe and serve as a commuter gym shoe without looking too silly. These shoes do both very well. Very comfortable, super durable, a good buy in all respects.

Pros
  • Traditional lace closure for a perfect fit and all-day comfort
Cons
  • Hard to say

All mountain boots should be like this

Take a bike ride, you've found your partner! Ride. They look like real shoes. Surprisingly they are stiff in the outsole and power transfer seems to be good. The tongue is soft and very comfortable. They're tough, but you can do it.

Pros
  • Shaft size just below the arch of the foot
Cons
  • Expandable

nice comfortable shoes with solid platform

I've had old Specialized MTB shoes for a long time. They were great, but eventually they parted ways. These PI X-Alps are better than I expected and give me noticeably more power. The outsole, lug setup and design are well thought out and they are very comfortable and grippy for walking when you need to get off the bike.

Pros
  • Reinforced toe box for extra protection
Cons
  • Gotchas

Bought because of a critical review

I bought these shoes because of a review that complained about the lack of ventilation. Ideal. I don't live in New Mexico in the summer. It's 40 degrees and drizzling in Minneapolis and these shoes are awesome. My fingers are dry. my feet are warm The Vibram sockliner provides traction on wet surfaces while toes flex in comfort for all-day wear. They can be the perfect work shoe when you don't have meetings where your sneaker style would look out of place.

Pros
  • EVA midsole for excellent cushioning on hard landings
Cons

Functionality and versatility

Just got back from a 6 day bike ride in Ireland where I tested these shoes. I couldn't be happier. The perfect combination of functional cycling shoes and shoes that are comfortable and discreet enough to take on a city hike or a forest trail. Roomier toe box than expected which was very comfortable. The clamps were perfectly recessed - I could not detect any noise on any normal floor covering. We had unexpectedly hot weather and the ability to breathe was excellent. Super comfortable and more…

Pros
  • Seamless upper with adhesive backing provides a lightweight and durable upper
Cons
  • Contact the seller

Good shoes, no ventilation

I was looking for a clip on flat shoe to replace my old PI enduro shoes. They fit great and don't have that weird forefoot/rocker flex that many cycling shoes have. They also allow the lugs to be positioned further back, which is great for mountain riding. They are pretty light for this type of shoe. The real downside was that I found these shoes to have no ventilation other than a small area at the base of the tongue. I blew air through every part of the boot and couldn't find a single spot…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • No instructions
