Pecute Scratcher Scratching Included 16 9X9 4In Review

We moved into a house with carpets and found our cats poking at it. Since the scratching post is horizontal, it really helped with this problem. We started with corrugated cardboard, but it didn't last and left a mess. This one is very durable and much more welcoming in the home, and cats will immediately go for it. They also love to play around with it. I definitely recommend it!

I bought this vertical cat tree for my cats but the suction cups don't stick to anything! I've tried everything I know to try and get the cups to prime, but when I can't even get it to stick to the glass. smh, I should have bought something that is attached differently. Or another vertical scraper. Because now I've paid for this fancy scratching post with a nice frame and it just stands on the ground. But the cats love it. This is her favorite scraper.

I've had this scratching post for a little over a month. The cats love it, but the sisal and carpet are already quite frayed and coming off the frame on either side. This is an expensive scraper and should last a lot longer than it is. I do not recommend the product. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me a new one for free. This one holds up much better, so I'm revising my review. I was very impressed with how the seller handled this situation.

I like a lot about it except that one important feature doesn't work. The suction cups barely keep it let alone in place, once the cat touches it it will fall. Seems to be an important feature that people want to buy; Mounts on glass and they chose useless suction cups. Sad. If cups worked that would be great! I ordered one on Thursday May 13th and it arrived May 15th. I ordered because I want to get rid of the cardboard scratches and clutter. I liked that it is a double-sided scraper. I ordered a second one on Sunday May 16th and it arrived yesterday May 18th. I wanted a sisal side and a carpet side for my two cats. My girls love this scratching post. They both knew exactly what to do when it fell on the floor, although we still bought those horrible boxes. I will NEVER use cardboard again! It's much better and they also like to relax. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the sisal material is already canceling out in the corners and I think we need to reinforce it somehow. My cats are horizontal scrapers and I'm tired of cleaning cardboard from cheap horizontal cardboard scrapers all over the house. It literally fell apart in the first 24 hours. Customer service is great, no problems with returns. Both sides parted on the first day. Stupid design. They can and should fix this if they want to stay in business.
