This product is ok. A bit wider than I was hoping and you have to move pretty quickly when measuring a baby's head, so the small size and ease of use is a good thing. Perfect for the price and office use.

This tape measure is made of laminated paper. It's very wide and my baby doesn't like it very much. However, the measuring tape that is half the size in our pediatric practice doesn't bother him. All in all, for over €10, it's not worth it.

I have worked in pediatrics for many years and have used this type of tape measure many times. I've never had a problem with them tearing. I bought this to use for my first baby and after two very gentle uses on a newborn (remember I've used it hundreds of times with no problem) the tape measure broke. The amount of paper around the hole that the tape goes through is negligible and it is poorly laminated making it much less durable than regular paper or sewing tape. I didn't mind paying $3.99…
