Peeler Machine Durable Peelers Suction Kitchen & Dining Review

This item is defective on first use. The thread on the handle gets caught and stops the movement of the apple and starts squeezing the apple. I tried several things to fix the problem. The instructions say to get in touch if you have any problems, but there is no contact information. I am not satisfied. I had to spend an extra $20 and get one from Pampered Chef.

Does not peel an apple. As you can see from my photos I used a regular apple shaped apple and this is what came out. It's also better than it could have been though, as I had to keep moving the paring knife to get it to peel again. If I left it alone it would stop peeling for the first half inch and wouldn't peel anything else. waste of money. If he can't peel a properly shaped apple, he's useless.

I've wanted this for so many years. I really don't know why it took me so long to finally buy it. Not only does it work well as a paring knife, I've used it to make spaghetti shapes with all sorts of things. My first thing was an apple. I just flipped it and ate the apple spaghetti, I tossed it in the salad. It looked cool, was fun to eat, and there weren't any chunks in it so it was easier to eat. Of course I made potatoes next. This made peeling much faster and easier. Goes well with apples and potatoes. The only problem with potatoes is that they're round, so there are a few areas that you need to peel. Love the fact that you can remove the slicer at the end, you don't want the apple to be sliced. This is great for my pies as I like to cut the apples a little thicker. In general, the purchase is very satisfied, the quality is good. Much stronger than I expected. I would recommend it and I would buy it again.

I was pleased to get this at a good price. I had it for two days. We peeled 7 apples for dehydration. The suction at the base works well. It was easy to use and wash. But I noticed that the screws were starting to rust. Hand washed and dried immediately. Also, one of the pins that poke the apple has slipped back. I couldn't get it back. I will exchange it.
