Finally real capsules!

Finally a non-Nespresso capsule that tastes great and works permanently in Nespresso machines. I usually buy Nespresso capsules because I love the taste. However, in the interest of economy, I've tried many (most) other Nespresso machine options. I've often been let down by the taste, and there are other brands that make decent coffee, but the pods are mostly plastic. I'm not sure if my Nespresso machine is unusually aggressive, but I ended up with a few mangled capsules and just colored water…

Impressive quality, worth every penny

My new favorite espresso! Having worked at Starbucks in the past, I still make many drinks at home and I can honestly say that the quality and taste of Pete's espresso is head and shoulders above 'regular' Starbucks. This espresso is ready - add a dash of sweetener and/or cream for extra flavor (I'm a fan of Torani's white mocha with a hint of pink syrup or a dash of peppermint CBD oil if you're feeling it - delicious!). This espresso has the right balance of strength and smoothness without…

Great value for money, fits disposable pods and capsules

I inherited my mum's Nespresso machine and we enjoyed it very much, although not as often. When our Keurig broke, we started using a Nespresso machine on a daily basis and it became necessary to find a cheaper alternative to Nespresso pods. We are members of Sam's and Costco and even their prices weren't that high. My favorite non-branded pods don't have a lot of decaf in their bundles, and buying individual boxes isn't that cheap, so I searched for cheap decaf pods and came across these. I'm…

The taste is excellent. But more expensive and not recyclable.

As others have mentioned they are great, taste very fresh thanks to the aluminum packaging and work seamlessly in Pixie. I also really like the flavors. So why only three stars? 1) Because they don't taste any better than real Nespresso capsules, no cons but important to note. 2) Two cents more for a pack of 50 capsules (1 star), what's the point if they are more expensive? 3) They currently cannot recycle them (1 star), seller says they are working on it (Nespresso claims they will NOT recycle

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Crumpled

We decided to try the multipack of Peet's Nespresso capsules (I meant to link to Revain's site but there is no button to insert link) and out of the 4 this was my favorite for overall flavor and intensity. . My favorite Nespresso capsule is Kazaar, but I love mixing it with other flavors. When I'm just using Nespresso I usually mix it with Indria or Roma (much lighter flavor with Roma but sometimes I'm in the mood for it) and I've been mixing it with Guatemalan Starbucks capsules for a while…

Delicious! And spend!: Coffee, tea and cocoa

Well, these coffee pods are delicious. It's a better buy than a Nespresso and anyway I prefer Pete's coffee for regular brewing. The biggest complaint is the price. Thankful I can get it here by subscribing and saving with a discount but it's still very expensive. I'm sure they beat the cost of production. And while it's a lot cheaper than getting a great tasting Starbucks latte, you still end up spending about $1 for every day using 2 capsules. 30 days, 2 capsules per day cost $30 per person…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other options

It's still "Nespresso. What else? "

I've tried all 4 of Peet's for Nespresso and this is my impression of Nerissimo Intensity 11. (Small caveat: I'm grew up with Peet's Coffee and look for his espresso whenever and wherever I can) BRIEFS: Peet's has the best coffee for OriginalLine machines besides Nespresso; However, Nespreso still tastes better and produces a smoother, richer cup across the intensity scale. PACKAGING AND PODs: As mentioned in other reviews, Peet's have done an excellent job creating a sturdy, practical yet…

A good, thick cup of coffee, as Alfred Peet said: Coffee should be

Peet's now offers very smooth aluminum capsules for Nespresso Original Line coffee machines, manufactured by JDE (Jacobs Douwe Egberts) and contain non-specific Arabica. Coffee roasted in France. Each box is made from responsibly sourced mixed board and the packs are distributed by Peet's in Berkeley. The capsules look really good, maybe even more visually appealing than Nespresso's own capsules. They weigh 7 grams each before brewing, as do my Nespresso pods and I've had no trouble running…
