Screw Spacers and Washers for Pegboard Mounting Review

Ideal for bare wood. On drywall they are so small that they can easily be pulled into the drywall and then bang the dowels into the wall. They were removed and replaced with 1" x 2" boards.

It's generally not bad for some spacers but the screws in the kit are very cheap quality. After 3 out of 1 out of 4, I either tried a cleaned one, or the head broke off, I threw away the rest and used my relatives.

I was surprised to see how small and flimsy the spacers and washers are. The kit was made in China, which I didn't know until it arrived. Gaskets do not remain on the screws during assembly. Only about 3/8" in diameter so they don't provide much surface support.

Tried to use these to install a perforated panel in my new work shed. Using pre-hammered holes, I found that several screw heads broke off when I tried to screw them in by hand. other nails/screws instead

I saw a lot of bad reviews but this worked great for me. Used painter's tape to secure the spacers and align them with the studs. There weren't any issues that people complained about here. I removed a screw but didn't use all / You can always use another screw you already have.

First of all. For starters, I appreciate that because I did it on my own. If someone would help me I would rate it higher. The distance from the board to the wall is perfect. Waste of Space A. Your die plate is minimal and if used properly and in sufficient quantities, your die plate will hold up and will not crack and/or warp. I would and probably will order more, just need helping hands

This is terrible! The screws break, bend, break, don't hold. The washers are flimsy and bend when you try to tighten them (if they wanted to upsize the bolts to a #10 or so, they wouldn't need washers at all). The screws break very easily. Attaching the spacers requires reaching behind the pinhole, which is not easy when it's partially raised. A couple of spacers cracked as I tightened the board. I left 1 star because we used spacers. First off, this set is overpriced but I thought it would be handy to have everything together. The screws and washers are so small and thin that they cannot do their intended job. It was a waste of money and ended up taking twice as long as the job should have taken. Cheap soft metal screws.
