My favorite pad

I use LOADS of this material! Buying here is much cheaper than craft stores if you use a lot. The thickness is ideal for adding a little stiffness to quilted cotton fabrics to help them hold their shape.

Pros
  • This is an 80% polyester/20% nylon nonwoven
Cons
  • Only available in white

I love using it for quilting.

As a quilter, this is one of my favorite interactive stories. I've used it for t-shirt quilts, vintage feedback quilts, and to reinforce dress shirts turned into pillows (commemorative gifts). Easy to use and the purchase of the bolt is worthwhile.

Pros
  • This is an import
Cons

NOT SUITABLE FOR STABILIZING T-SHIRTS

I bought this fuser to use on t-shirt quilts at someone's recommendation. DO NOT BUY THIS if you want to use it to stabilize your t-shirt ceiling! It does not stick to the edges of the t-shirt, making t-shirts too heavy and very difficult to sew. Unfortunately, I have already cut 2 quilts out of T-shirts. I wish I had tried it as soon as I received it so I could send it back for a refund. I've used the Pellon P44F in the past and keep coming back to it.

Pros
  • Used on featherlight to medium weight fabrics
Cons
  • Can't remember
