Durable product when quilting

Bamboo wadding is soft and more durable than regular cotton wadding. It can be difficult to find at a reasonable price. Nice to have found something here.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Very expensive

Poor quality

This cotton is too thin for a duvet. It would be nice if it was doubled. There are other suppliers of bamboo wadding that are of much better quality.

Pros
  • Bamboo Blend is made from 3-4 year old "new" bamboo from regions in China.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

It is light and easy to work with.

This wadding is very easy to quilt. It is light and forms a light blanket. I also love that it's made from bamboo, a renewable source.

Pros
  • The entire distillation and production process is an environmentally friendly process with no pollution or chemical additives.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Afraid to use it

I bought this because I was intrigued by the idea of beating bamboo and it was a good price. However, after reading the instructions, I'm afraid to use it for anything other than wall hanging. The instructions call for a prewash with the bold warning "NEVER MIX!". neither during this process nor when washing the finished quilt. First off, I've never washed cotton wool in my life and I have no intention of starting now. Down in the dryer can, but be washed? Shouldn't that have been done at theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quilters are keen to consume products made with our land in mind.
Cons
  • Can't remember
