I found that I couldn't do some of the things that the original pen could do in the xr-18 audio enhancement software application. Previously, I could open the label strip and edit the channel name. This one didn't even open. Well I think I'll buy the original pen.

I have a new surface go, I have to say that a pen to work and draw has greatly improved my user experience. This pen comes in a simple packaging, works out of the box and requires no settings or pairings in the tablet settings. I'm pleasantly surprised.

The stylus is solid but doesn't work like an official Microsoft stylus purchased from Microsoft. I decided to go cheap and it shows. Half the time the touchscreen doesn't respond to the stylus and I have to try multiple times to get it to work. I had to buy a new stylus from Microsoft which works great. I don't recommend it. BTW I bought one for my wife and I and neither of them work well.

Let's try again as my first review was suspiciously blocked lol. I have no idea why this pen has such a high rating. This pen is useless. It contains no instructions on how it should be paired or powered. It looks good, but I won't bother trying to figure out how to connect the handle I paid money for. This is the company's work. Do yourself a favor and choose a more reputable brand.

The pen works but feels cheap in the hand and some of the features that a real Surface Pen has are not available with this pen. The buttons on the handle are not fixed in the handle so it rattles when shaken, adding to the cheap factor. If you're looking to save money this will work fine, but for the price I think it should work better ($32.99). Considering the price difference, I think the Surface Pen is better. Return it now to get the real deal.
