Just what I needed in an electric lamp

I wanted to bring more light into my room but wasn't looking for a bulky lamp. This hanging socket set is very good for what I need and the price is amazing! I've had it for over a month now and it's still working fine. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to large lamps, look no further! Suitable for all conventional light bulbs.

As expected no problems so far

Ordered two sets and all worked fine on arrival. I use LED bulbs in them so can't comment on higher current applications, but I've found them to work well for 15 watt applications. There is no ground pin on the plug but because it is double insulated. (There is no exposed metal surface on any external part and the internal wires are insulated) The ground pin is useless.

😬 AVOID heavier lamps πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘ Extension cord with socket πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

This socket is similar to an extension cord, but instead of a cord you get a socket with a lamp connector. This is the same quality as the cheap extension cords you can find at Walmart/Dollar. However, you have the option of plugging your own lightbulb directly into an outlet to use as a lamp/light source. You do NOT want an overly heavy bulb in this socket. I would recommend a lightweight LED bulb the same size as a desk lamp (if not smaller). The base head wobbles a bit so it's not strong…
