Turned on cone gray 6

The panties were beautiful and stayed beautiful even after the biscuit cream had been baked. But the last burning of cone 6 turned it gray. It's quite gray but not at all like the berry wine I bought. According to the product information, it is designed for low, medium and high shots.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

I think I abused it

I probably abused it to be honest but it didn't mix very well and if you use it to finish after firing it will flake off leaving a blue mess made of powdery flakes and if you try to scratch the icing on it it could only be my fault but the icing is peeling off the slip and not covering the art evenly.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires rosette

Great item, please refill!

Aged Gold is a beautiful color that mixes very easily with other Penguin Pottery colours. I have used these dyes with other colors and was able to get an AMAZING rusty red shade by mixing Aged Gold and Lobster Red BUT to my great disappointment they seem to have stopped selling this shade :( Love this company and their products. Please Replenish inventories of Aged Gold so I can keep experimenting and crafting unique items!

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Crimson does not reach red

This is 10% in Plain Clear. Fired on a tall cone 5 early 6. Not very red and definitely changes the glaze a lot. If you add another 10% it might get redder, but it's likely that this glaze will become dull.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old

Got gray on the cone 6

The note was pretty and stayed pretty after the biscuit was fired. But the last burning of cone 6 turned it gray. It's quite gray but not at all like the berry wine I bought. According to the product information, it is designed for low, medium and high shots.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
